Everything you need to know about VisaSlotWatch
You need Chrome, the VisaSlotWatch extension, and an active AIS scheduling session for your case. After you sign in to AIS, open the extension options, run Auto-Detect while logged in, confirm your embassy and date preferences, and then start monitoring.
No, not by default. VisaSlotWatch works within your existing browser session. You can optionally enable auto-login; credentials are stored locally on your device only, encrypted at rest, and never sent to our servers.
Session recovery is optional on Starter and Power. If enabled, local auto-login is used only when your AIS session expires so monitoring can continue. Credentials stay encrypted on your device and are never sent to our servers.
Guarded auto-rescheduling is available on the Power plan. When enabled, VisaSlotWatch checks your selected embassies in your chosen priority order and can book the first eligible earlier appointment within your configured date window. It runs only in your browser session, pauses after success, and can pause after failures that require your attention.
Free and Starter plans focus on monitoring and alerts. Starter and Power can also use optional session recovery to restore your AIS session locally in your browser when enabled. Power is the plan that adds guarded auto-rescheduling for eligible earlier appointments.
VisaSlotWatch runs through your own browser session and monitors publicly accessible US visa appointment availability. Power users can optionally enable guarded auto-rescheduling for eligible earlier dates, but we do not bypass security measures or move credentials to our servers. Users remain responsible for reviewing the visa portal's terms of service.
Notifications are sent via desktop alerts, email, Telegram, or Slack, depending on your plan and notification settings.
Sample Alerts
Alerts are sent as soon as new slots are detected. Check frequency depends on your plan: Free tier checks every 1 hour, while Power checks as fast as every 3 minutes.
